New Balance’s MADE in USA 998 is Covered in “Orange/Royal”

Another year is nearing completion for Teddy Santis and his New Balance MADE in USA division. The fashion-forward line is rounding out its range for the year by completing its latest seasonal collection with the release of two 998s. Earlier this month, it was revealed in “Brown/Green” for this final New Balance MADE in USA drop. Now, it stars in an “Orange/Royal” combination that is sure to stand out when worn.

In its 30th year on the market, the 998 continues to see action as releases such as the re-issue of Concepts’ “C-Note” collaboration have excited sneakerheads this year. Staying true to its build, the “Orange/Royal” pair utilizes premium suede and mesh throughout its layered upper. Orange covers a majority of the sneaker with a sandy off-white placed between segments and a royal blue chiming in at the midfoot’s “N” logos. Lastly, a green hue appears at the sole unit as black completes the pair at the rubber outsole.

Release for the New Balance MADE in USA 998 in this “Orange/Royal” colorway is scheduled to take place on December 28 via New Balance and select retailers. It’s priced at $210 USD and will release alongside the previously-revealed “Brown/Green” to round out the seasonal collection from the Teddy Santis-led line.
