Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Surfaces in “Cosmic Clay”

Just this month, Nike revealed the forthcoming “Neutral Olive” and “Saturn Gold” colorways of its Y2k-esque signature, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 sneaker. Now the sportswear giant is adding to its lineup with another edition. This time, the brand is continuing the space-leaning theme with its new “Cosmic Clay” colorway.

Like from the planet Mars, the new edition is washed completely in the dusty clay shade – from the sole to the upper and even the shoelaces. On the construction side, the silhouette maintains the shoe’s TPU, leather and mesh build for an irrefutably striking, yet functional look.

Additional details include 3m reflective accents on the upper, a cushion, a rubber outsole and a Zoom Air midsole. Another standout detail is a tribute to Nike’s co-founder, Bill Bowerman, made up of his name and a graphic design which is seen on the insoles. It’s clear that the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 has been a success this year and Nike plans on furthering its family well into the next year – spanning multicolored and monochromatic editions.

Take a look at the Mars-ready colorway in the gallery above. Retailing for $160 USD, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Cosmic Clay” is expected to release online at Nike and with select retailers in Spring 2024.
