The Longines Master Collection is one of the watchmaker’s most emblematic series of all time. In welcoming the new year, Longines now releases two limited-edition GMT timepieces from the collection, each available in a run of 500 examples.
Available in yellow gold and rose gold, the timepiece comes attired in a 40mm wide watch case, crafted in its namesake material. Spotlighted on the watch face is a frosted silver dial, embellished with the Longines logo, leaf-shaped hands and 11 applied Roman numerals in either yellow gold or rose gold. A 24-hour chapter ring and railroad minute track encircle the indices, creating a visual depth that bestows the piece with an extra layer of dimension.
Geared with a power reserve of up to 72 hours, the GMT runs on the L844.5 caliber — an exclusive and self-winding in-house movement that’s magnetically resistant. Completing the watch is a soft touch alligator strap in anthracite-gray, which is paired with a tongue buckle in matching yellow gold or rose gold.
Both options of the Longines Master Collection GMT watch retail for 14,100 CHF (approximately $16,546 USD). To inquire about its availability, visit Longines’ official website.
