Acclaimed hip-hop artist, Mass The Difference, has just confirmed that he’s new EP called Nights Before will be dropping in the coming month on February 9th to be specific.
So, the news of this upcoming tape was shared on Mass’ social media pages via the unveiling of the project’s official artwork which also included a look into the tracklist that is made-up of seven tracks in total with two mentioned features from frequent collaborator H’ & Them & Jazz The Man.
Narrative-wise, one can speculate that the tape will be vulnerable in nature from just looking at the song titles such as ‘Get Away’, ‘Care For Me’ and even sequel records like ‘Lerato’s Heart Part 2′ with H’ & Them… Plus there’s also a string-filled & Jazzy-sounding instrumental snippet within the post that also evokes a self-observation vibe.
In 2023 Mass came out of a three-year break with the release of Casino Baby, a multi-layered project that ultimately gave fans an update on Mass’ state of mind and come next month he’ll be sharing the official follow-up to that body of work with Nights Before but we expect some sort of single release prior.
